We
will accept virtually any materials that you provide, if you would like
us to produce or finish your artwork. We are able to create colorful
and eye-catching designs based on your sketches, drawings, business
cards and mock-ups. We do not charge extra for scanning your logos or
photographs on our high-resolution scanners.
Please
note: 30 minutes is commonly sufficient time to lay out your magnet,
this 30 minutes is inclusive in the originally quoted price for your
magnets. If you require extra time for the right design to be produced,
we would happily provide this service at a cost of $50.00 per hour.
Remember
there are advantages of using your own finished designs. As you follow
our specifications we can provide proof and approval instantly! We
guarantee that our proof will be an exact copy of your original design.
If you would like to email your finished artwork:
1. Your artwork must be in one of the following software formats;
- Adobe Illustrator: up to version 10 EPS, PDF or AI (convert fonts to curves/outlines)
- Adobe Photoshop: up to version 6 EPS, PDF or PSD (Save with layers, include fonts)
(** Note for Quark users: A Quark EPS is still font dependent - we
would prefer art to be created as Illustrator EPS with fonts converted
to curves/outlines.) Please ensure colors are converted to CMYK (We
cannot accept RGB or Spot Colors.
2. Please ensure that text, logos or essential images are NOT placed within 3/16 of an inch from the edge of your magnet.
3. Please be aware that all bitmaps should be supplied at a resolution of no less than 300 dpi.
4. Please provide a PDF, JPG, TIFF or color printout of your artwork, we need to use this as a proof.
If you choose to provide finished artwork but you don’t have one of the accepted formats:
We have the ability to accept most formats. Please follow these guidelines:
1. Please
convert all fonts to curves/outlines whenever possible (If you are
unable to convert fonts to curves - please provide True Type or Type 1
fonts for all artwork submitted. Note that discrepancies may occur when
fonts are transferred across different platforms and applications. A
PDF, JPG, Tiff or color printout of your artwork must therefore be
supplied if you are providing fonts.)
2. Output as a PDF or EPS file, and ensure all other specifications are followed.
We always seek your approval before printing by supplying you with a
proof. The first proof is absolutely free, if you require additional
proofs, we charge $20 per proof.
